Time - Experimental Art Video

Time and it's perception to humans has ever since been an interesting phenomenon to me...

This was one of my early works, back then when there were "just" those smaller camcorders availlable for normal people like me...
I found my fathers' Hi8 cam to be very cool. It had some integrated effects like mirror image and so on. For this video I experimented with just the internal mirror effect and analog video feedback, which gave a really psychedelic look and flow. Afterwards, I edited the nice parts together with a cheap HAMA cut processor, which did just assemble cuts with the parts I wanted to keep from Hi8 to VHS by timecode. The grafics in the beginning and end were the first "all digital PC video" I did in premiere with the help of a friend who had a fast PC and a video grafix card back then when CPUs and MBs were expensive ;-) Afterwards, I made the soundtrack and overlayed it.
I fell in love with video editing and camera work and the joy of experimenting with these, so I begun to work at a production company to get deeper into it...
